Family Camps
Cathedral Ridge invites you to unplug, relax and delight in the beauty of God’s creation. Enjoy a long weekend of delicious meals, arts & crafts, hikes, high ropes and archery, field games, worship, s’mores and more. Each family stays in a private room in Lupine Lodge. Intergenerational and age-appropriate activities will be offered. Episcopal clergy will serve as chaplains and lead Sunday’s outdoor Eucharist. Come and join us for a time of rest and renewal.
PRIDE Family Camp
Theme: We are Family!
June 12-15, 2025
Pride Camp seeks to provide an intergenerational space for LGBTQ+ individuals and families to experience the joys of summer camp in a fun, loving, and affirming environment. We’ll laugh and play, enjoying games, crafts, ropes course/climbing wall, s’mores, dancing, and other camp traditions. In sessions and worship, we’ll explore and celebrate being beloved members of God’s great big family. Throughout our time, we will nurture relationships with other LGBTQ+ people and families. We will make space for those just beginning or re-engaging spirituality from an affirming stance, and for those who are deep in their journey looking to take their next steps in spirituality and activism.
Chaplain: The Rev. Tory Moir (they/them)
Facilitator: Pastor Nicole Garcia (she/her)
Creation Care Family Camp
Theme: Ohana~Creation as Family
June 19-22, 2025
At Creation Care Camp, an intergenerational Family Camp, we’ll explore together our interconnectedness with all members of God’s sacred creation - human and non-human. We’ll engage with land and animals, cherishing our fellow creatures from the miniscule to the magnificent. In sessions and worship, we’ll discover what the Bible says about our role in caring for our Earth. We’ll have fun together in all the traditional camp activities: games, crafts, nature hikes, campfires with s’mores, ropes course/climbing wall, singing silly songs, and so much more. We’ll pray and meditate in our incredible forest setting. There will be time for families to be together, and opportunities for age-group activities and sessions.
Chaplain: Pastor Alena Lamirato (she/her)
Facilitator: The Rev. Deacon Linda Brown (she/her)
Multicultural Family Camp
A Time to Pray and Play Together
July 3-6, 2025
At Multicultural Camp, we will have a chance to both pray and play in the beauty of Cathedral Ridge. We’ll celebrate our cultural differences, cherishing the rich beauty God has woven into each thread of the vast tapestry of human experience. We will pray for unity among all peoples and worship God as many members of the one Body of Christ. We’ll also play together, supporting one other and enjoying God’s wonderful world through traditional camp games, crafts, songs, hikes, ropes course, archery, and campfires with s’mores. Come have an adventure in the mountains with the whole family!
Chaplains: The Rev. Quirino Cornejo (he/him) and Pastor Margarita Reyes (she/her)
Facilitator: The Rev. John Hill (he/him)
